Photography has been a life-long love of mine - ever since I picked up my first digital camera in my emo teen days of the early 2000s. My life & career led me to theatre, however. I earned a BA in Theatre, and was a professional stage manager in Chicago for almost a decade.

I moved to Asheville, North Carolina in 2020 and rediscovered my love of photography. Photography, for me, is an extension of the thing I love most about theatre & art:

the opportunity to connect to people & allow them to explore their true authentic selves while creating a safe space to be vulnerable. 

And as a queer person myself, it means the world to be able to center queer people in my photographs - queer stories, queer bodies, queer love. 

 

I capture memories - genuine, candid moments of self-expression, celebrating whatever that means for each person. My style reflects the energy of the people I photograph & the story & atmosphere we create together - so every photo session & set will be unique!
